NG Intermedia, ApS, a marketing and app-centric company based in Copenhagen, Denmark, announced it will be acquiring VisionSync, Inc, a Palo Alto, Calif. based Social Media and App company.

NG Intermedia, ApS, a marketing and app-centric company based in Copenhagen, Denmark, announced it will be acquiring VisionSync, Inc, a Palo Alto, Calif. based Social Media and App company.

Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. The acquisition of VisionSync, Inc., a company developed and launched by social media and app pioneers Nikolas Gough and Steven Sikes, will enable NG Intermedia ApS to strengthen its position in the explosive app market and gain a strategic foothold in Europe.

Steven Sikes, President and Co-Founder of VisionSync, Inc, said, "When NG Intermedia ApS decided to acquire several core VisionSync, Inc assets, it was best to accept this offer, while retaining other key VisionSync, Inc assets to be developed with different designs and to be re-coded in HTML5 for future launches.”

Nikolas Gough, CEO and co-founder, and Steven put much effort into making VisionSync, Inc. a vibrant company. The Company’s apps and sites won numerous awards and received worldwide media attention in the arenas of social networking, dating, news, healthcare and lifestyle, and engaged millions of users. VisionSync also developed some compelling technologies, including its Dating API, which received much attention in the Media, including a feature article in THE NEXT WEB.

Steven Sikes will stay on as President of VisionSync, Inc. until July 31, 2012, as he and Nikolas will work to transition assets into their respective entities. It’s uncertain at this stage whether VisionSync, Inc will maintain a presence in Silicon Valley with its Palo Alto office, or eventually operate solely out of NG Intermedia ApS Copenhagen, Denmark office.
