We went with Rimol because of their reputation for quality and customer service,” Pettinelli said. “We wanted to make sure we had a product that lasted, and that is why we went with Rimol. From the purchase to construction, they were great to work with.

Boston, MA (PRWEB) July 31, 2012

Rimol Greenhouse Systems of Hooksett, NH, manufacturer of commercial greenhouses, was proud to be a part of the grand opening of ReVision Urban Farm. This is a program developed by Victory Programs of Boston, which provides shelter and hope to pregnant and parenting homeless women in Boston.

Jim Pettinelli, chief operating officer of Victory Programs, said selecting Rimol Greenhouse Systems was an easy decision. “We went with Rimol because of their reputation for quality and customer service,” Pettinelli said. “We wanted to make sure we had a product that lasted, and that is why we went with Rimol. From the purchase to construction, they were great to work with.”

The ReVision Urban Farm purchased a Rimol Greenhouse Systems 26-foot by 96-foot Northpoint greenhouse for propagation and growing of fruit and vegetable plants. This greenhouse is the cornerstone for the urban garden, which had its grand opening on July 20, 2012.

“This farm provides volunteer and intern opportunities for residents of our programs, good nutrition for them, as well as utilizing vacant space in Boston,” Pettinelli said. “We provide up to $100,000 servings of vegetables each season, and the majority of those are grown, in whole or in part, in the greenhouse. In addition, this greenhouse will allow us to be a year-round farm and grow fruits and vegetables during the winter.”

The Northpoint series is the ultimate in freestanding greenhouses. The Northpoint was developed as one of the original Rimol greenhouses, designed for multi-functional use as both a growing and retail house. The Northpoint has exceptional versatility, and can withstand the harsh weather often seen in New England.

Some of the features of the greenhouse include: 4-foot bow spacing made of 1.66” galvanized steel tubing; truss assemblies with every bow (for unmatched strength); three purlins, which connect to the bows using a cross connector system (for no unnecessary drilling into the bow); and wind bracing kits.

“We are proud of all of our products, but the fact that the Northpoint series has stood the test of time is a testament to its quality and popularity,” owner Bob Rimol said. “We are particularly excited that our product is part of such a great project like the ReVision Urban Farm, and their endorsement of our product means much to us. I look forward to working with them in the future.”
