The City of Sunny Isles Beach is Gearing Up to Rock the Beach on August 25th!

The City of Sunny Isles Beach, in partnership with Critical Recordings Studio, is recruiting bands to battle it out for the coveted 1st place, at our Rock the Beach event, on Saturday, August 25th. The event will take place at Heritage Park, 19200 Collins Avenue, from 6pm – 10pm. Following the competition portion of the event, there will be performances by several well-known south Florida groups.

Looking to showcase your musical talent? Waiting for a chance to perform in public with your rock band? Look no further. The City of Sunny Isles Beach, in partnership with Critical Recordings Studio, is recruiting bands to battle it out for the coveted 1st place, at our Rock the Beach event, on Saturday, August 25th. Bands will be required to pay a nominal fee of $50 to register for the event, but will receive, in return, a 5-hour block of recording time at Critical Recordings Studio. In addition to this, the 1st place winner will receive a recording package, to include editing by the studio.

The event will take place at Heritage Park, 19200 Collins Avenue, from 6pm – 10pm. Following the competition portion of the event, there will be performances by several well-known south Florida groups. Admission to the event is free, and open to the public. Food vendors will be on site, selling various items.

Parking will be available in the Heritage Park parking garage, as well as under the William Lehman Causeway. To enter a band in the competition, or for more information about the event, please contact the Cultural & Community Services Department, at 305.792.1706. Entries for the competition will only be accepted until 9pm on August 17th.
