New York, NY (PRWEB) July 31, 2012
Lisa Wright, Director of Bureau van Dijk (BvD)’s Zephyr Merger and Acquisition (M&A) database, will be in NYC at the New York Public Library (NYPL)’s Science, Industry and Business Library (SIBL) on August 10th to conduct a workshop on the availability of deal data in different scenarios around the world, and how this information can be used to analyze deals, rumors and trends.
In this session, Wright will demonstrate the functionality of the Zephyr database as well as some of the interesting ways the resource’s information can be leveraged in your work:
- The first portion of this workshop will look at deals on a global level and how the information provided by the database can be affected by a company’s legal status.
- The second portion will demonstrate how you can analyze the different types of M&A data available within Zephyr, which allows users to create pitchbooks, identify capital flow, identify M&A trends, monitor M&A activity, and stay informed about how companies use shareholders’ money.
The workshop will be held Friday, August 10th from 11:30am to 12:30pm EST at NYPL’s SIBL on 188 Madison Avenue at 34th Street.
More deals are added to Zephyr on an annual basis than any other resource. It contains comprehensive information on M&A, IPO, Private Equity and Venture Capital deals and rumors.
