My three-week trip to Belgium in 2001 inspired these brews. It wasn’t until our 6000th batch ten years later (in 2011) that the milestone-worthy Dubbel came to life.

Bristol Brewing Co. - a microbrewery that settled in the lap of Pikes Peak and brews flavorful, one-of-a-kind ales for the people of Colorado – today announced the release of two Belgian beers: Bristol’s Belgian Dubbel and Bristol’s Belgian Tripel. Both scheduled for an August 23 unveiling, the two bottle conditioned ales will only be available in 750ml bottles at select restaurants and liquor stores across Colorado and in the brewery’s tasting room. The newly designed silk-screened bottles are finished with a cork and wire cage.

Meet our Belgian Dubbel:
A frothy marriage of deep, caramelized richness, fruity undertones, and the lush complexity that bottle conditioning brings.

Meet our Belgian Tripel:
A golden, richly aromatic beer that’s high in nuance, low on fuss. Clean, dry, and biscuity with a dense, snow white head.

“My three-week trip to Belgium in 2001 inspired these brews,” says Mike Bristol, owner of Bristol Brewing Co. “It wasn’t until our 6000th batch ten years later (in 2011) that the milestone-worthy Dubbel came to life. This year, we’re excited to brew and bottle both of these traditional Belgian-style beers for Colorado.”

The big, intense flavor of the Dubbel pairs well with smoked meats and cheeses or chocolate, while the Tripel is a hands-down match for blue cheese and aged gouda, as well as a variety of pork and chicken dishes.
