Doctor Steven J. Cyr, M.D., FAAOS, who founded the Orthopaedic and Spine Institute Medical Centers (OSI) in 2005, announced this week that Dr. Naveen Ramineni, M.D. joined the medical services organization at the Texas Center for Athletes, located at 21 Spurs Lane, San Antonio, Texas 78240. Dr. Ramineni will fulfill multiple roles at OSI with his experiential education, skill and knowledge of physical medicine and pain management. Dr. Cyr said, "we continue to provide the full spectrum of procedures and treatments at OSI Medical Centers and we believe that Dr. Ramineni's Healthgrade report card is a personal testament to his patient care and medical skills, currently boasting a 91 patient satisfaction rating!"

Dr. Ramineni is a fellowship trained and board certified physician specializing in the evaluation and treatment of spinal disorders through interventional spinal procedures. He attended Emory University in Atlanta for his undergraduate education. After finishing medical school in Philadelphia at the Medical College of Pennsylvania-Hahnemann School of Medicine, Dr. Ramineni completed a physical medicine and rehabilitation residency at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas. While at Baylor College of Medicine, he learned to evaluate and treat musculoskeletal and spinal conditions. He then completed an accredited pain fellowship with renowned and pioneering pain physician Dr. Elliot Krames in San Francisco, where Dr. Ramineni attained comprehensive training in interventional spinal procedures.

Dr. Ramineni is board certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation with subspecialty board certification in Pain Medicine through the American Board of Medical Specialties.
