RSS, the all-new online magazine for men (and not only), is pleased to announce that it has reached almost 2000 followers on twitter and 1000 fans on Facebook in the two months since its official release on the market. The immediate success of the magazine is linked to the close relation it has with the need of modern men to have fast, fresh and compact information at the tips of their fingers.

For a long while now, magazines and sites have been focusing mostly on the female side, giving advice, tips and tricks, showcasing hot men and suggesting products. The trend of men's magazines started in 1933, with the birth of Esquire, and hit a peak in 1953 with Playboy. Still, there are more magazines and sites dedicated to women than to men. While this is not necessarily a problem per-say, it does tend to tilt the balance in what equality of the sexes is concerned as far as media coverage goes. Not only do the existent sites dedicated to men use words such as 'chicks' and 'babes' instead of 'women', they also have intricate and hard-to-follow designs. "Other sites feature galleries with pictures of women, under a category they usually call 'girls', 'chicks' or 'babes'. So I said 'no' to that; we are the web magazine featuring Smart Stuff for Men, and they are Women, not chicks or babes," declared Bogdan Onofrei, owner and managing editor of HisPotion.

The magazine’s beginnings come from a discovery - the discovery that there aren’t many simple sites with good user interface. "Earlier this year I realized there isn’t any blog or site out there that I can read in my spare time, and really enjoy. In weekends, while having breakfast or just in the few breaks I get – something I could easily browse from my iPad," stated the owner of HisPotion, the new online place designed primarily for male eyes. "Far from being sexist, the site focuses on 'smart stuff for men' while still appealing to a wide range of people. It deals with topics from gadgets, technology, and fashion to travelling tips and relationship tips. And then there’s the occasional gallery of sexy models, to keep things fresh. It can be used as a 'fun-da-men-tal' resource for finding interesting and fun gifts for just about anyone: "On a side note, yes, women can benefit a lot from our site - if she is looking for a (smart) present for him, HisPotion is the best place to get it from, or at least get inspiration from what we feature."

The findings are carefully selected from the mass of information available online and presented in a minimalist and elegant package. The site basically keeps you in the know while keeping everything short and concise. With new articles every day, this emerging site will keep you updated on all things manly. The style is funny, at times ironic, the reviews informative and the pace alert, keeping up with the readers' busy lives. What is truly interesting is the fact that readers can make recommendations themselves. "It’s right there on our About page: We’re curious! If you’re a producer, garage band, if you create handmade stuff in your grandma’s attic and want some exposure, go ahead and Contact us!" Being user-oriented, the site has a few expansions in store: "The near future will bring a user system, where you can sign-up, share or comment on the stuff you like. You’ll also be able to add products or cool finds."

HisPotion is a unique and innovative combination of features and information. "You won’t find any other blog or site out there that combines Gear, Lifestyle, Fashion and Beautiful Women. Not with this simplicity and not as clean as His Potion." For more information, contact Bogdan Onofrei or simply visit
