Woods Hole, MA (PRWEB) August 01, 2012
The Woods Hole Inn announced it’s continued efforts to “go green” for health and wellness by using green cleaning products. The newly renovated facility at 28 Water Street recently began using Greening the Cleaning® products from The Deirdre Imus Environmental Health Center at Hackensack University Medical Center. The plant-based, biodegradable green cleaning products are more environmentally responsible and less toxic than typical household cleaning chemicals. All profits from the institutional products go back to the Deirdre Imus Environmental Health Center™ for supporting education and research to identify, control, and ultimately prevent toxic exposures in the environment that threaten children's health.
“These efforts, including our Greening the Cleaning® program, change the way we think about the environment around us," said Deirdre Imus, founder and President of The Deirdre Imus Environmental Health CenterTM, a 501(c) (3) not-for-profit.
The Woods Hole Inn of Woods Hole, Massachusetts found Greening the Cleaning products through some friends at Cape Island Green program. We were looking to continue our efforts as a green establishment with environmentally friendly cleaning products that work well. We love using Greening the Cleaning® products in our renovated 14 bedroom inn not only because they offer safe, natural products that work great but also because we feel that the focus of the company is so important and we really respect that. Guest love the fact that they can stay at the Woods Hole Inn and know that we work to high extremes to do our efforts to save the environment. We are an eco-destination. Come stay GREEN by the deep BLUE sea.
The Woods Hole Inn join over 400 schools, healthcare facilities, government agencies and businesses that have adopted the green cleaning program since its inception in 2001.
