Walneck's Classic Cycle and CycleTrader.com launch new parts and gear marketplace.

Walneck’s Classic Cycle and CycleTrader.com announce the launch of a new marketplace for motorcycle parts, gear, and accessories. The Parts, Accessories, and Gear Marketplace will allow sellers from both Walneck’s and CycleTrader.com to create an ad for their inventory that will make items visible and searchable in the marketplace.

Private sellers who post vintage motorcycle parts on Walneck’s Classic Cycle will pay a flat rate for an ad to appear online and in Walneck’s Magazine. The online ad will run for 4 weeks and include 20 photos and a video. Owners who want to sell their parts or gear on CycleTrader.com can choose between two packages. The first package allows private sellers to run a free 2 week ad online and pay a small fee for enhancements like photo and video. The comprehensive package provides sellers with the ad, as well as enhancements for 12 weeks, at a flat rate of only $49.

Unlike other classified advertising sites, Walneck’s and CycleTrader.com will not charge sellers a percentage of their sale. Sellers may opt to provide contact information for buyer inquiries via email or provide a link to their private site for buyers to purchase directly.

CycleTrader’s Parts, Accessories, and Gear marketplace displays results nationwide but also helps to more effectively connect buyers and sellers in similar locations. When a user selects “Parts, Accessories, and Gear,” they will see nationwide search results, sorted by nearby zip codes. Users can also filter results by other criteria.

Sellers can visit http://www.walnecks.com/sell or http://www.cycletrader.com/sell for more details.

About Walneck’s Classic Cycle
Walneck’s began in 1978 as a single, two-sided list of parts and motorcycles for sale from Buzz and Pixie’s inventory. The publication soon evolved into a newspaper that included buy and sell pages, stories, and old road-test reprints. In 1997, Walneck’s Classic Cycle Trader became a part of Dominion Enterprises. Each month the 200-page magazine contains hundreds of antique and classic motorcycles from sellers around the world, with the majority from the United States and Canada.
