Rough Rider, Inc., with a history of innovative, new products has introduced a unique system for keeping ants from colonizing in potted house plants, or even in pet food bowls, without the use of potentially harmful pesticides or chemicals, or messy water moats.
“Our new Ant-T-Ant™ system stops pesky and damaging ants from climbing into and colonizing in valued indoor and outdoor ornamental potted plants,” said Alex Bellehumeur, owner of Rough Rider Inc. and inventor of the Ant-T-Ant system. “Our patented system easily attaches to plant pots or pet food bowls to effectively keep ants out. The Ant-T-Ant system keeps potted plants free of ants without the use of harmful chemicals or pesticides, making it safer and more economical for your family and household.”
Ant-T-Ant works because of its patented design and a scientifically formulated, proprietary coating developed in conjunction with the University of California, Riverside, and is proven to stop ants from climbing the system. The system, consisting of round, post-like devices, can be attached using peel and stick self-adhesive to almost any flat bottomed pet food bowl, plant pot, or serving tray, making it easy to use in a broad variety of situations, both indoor and outdoor. The Ant-T-Ant devices can also be easily removed without damage to bowls or pots and even reused on other items. A set of four of the post-like devices can hold up to 150 lbs, offering a non-skid feature on the bottom.
The Ant-T-Ant system is available in 4-packs (Suggested Retail Price $8.99) and in 8-packs (Suggested Retail Price $15.99), and will be available for purchase through garden stores, pet stores, and online retailers.
