Poet-author Micha Ilich vivaciously features the rich arsenal of experiences garnered from 98 years of living in book, “Poetic Musings From My Life”. This inspiring collection of poems is broad and exquisitely reflects the various aspects of his life. Soul-enriching, it shares a myriad of valuable insights which will enhance its readers’ understanding of the true workings of the world, and how one man is able to see them through a creative lens unlike any other.
The ambiguities found in this creative literature symbolize both the internal and external conflicts one inevitably experiences through life’s realities. A product of the long and fruitful lifetime of a true observer of life, this book is a precious treasure that brings out raw emotions from within the reader. Also, it treats the reflections of the mind with the utmost respect and importance, for without these strains of meditative thinking and solemn internalization of wisdom, people will be merely existing but not living.
With a very skilled command of poetry and a sophisticated play on words, Ilich vivaciously and dramatically describes his emotions and thoughts, artistically constructed and put on paper. His method of articulation is indeed rare, for very few artists can execute poetry with such delicate and refined precision. His eye for verses and sequencing of words is a fusion of powerful yet subtle ideas about life and the things that truly matter in this world. Compelling, moving and core-shaking, this inspiring book is a literary ‘must-read’ for all who share a fondness for discovering the simple yet profound truths behind the mystery of life.
This book will be featured at the California Library Association Book Exhibit in San Jose, Calif. on November 2-4, 2012.
