After the release of his debut album “All or Nothing vol.1”, Maryland rapper Reveneu has gained significant appreciation from the public. Many could criticize that his location in reference to the overall D.C., Maryland, Virginia movement, isn’t a main attraction for the hip hop culture. Others can argue Reveneu is in a great position to bring attention to his particular area. One thing both sides of the argument can agree is the music is appealing. Last week I had a chance to sit down with Reveneu and discuss the progress he’s made since the release of “All or Nothing vol.1”. He explains that everything up to this point in his career has been earned with hardwork and persistance. "Many people will tell you, you cant do something for whatever reason. You just have to be strong minded and stay focused." Moving into the latter part of the year he will continue with the same work ethic and return with a new mixtape titled "More for the Masses".
A series of industry beats with a selection of some orginal music from himself. " You can't stop working, people admire that more then anything else" he explains. Despite a major co-sign many artists feel they need in today's market, Reveneu is aware that building a campaign from the ground up is far more beneficial when it is time to sit down with the major labels. The public is watching, Maryland is waiting to be recognized on the hip hop rostrum and Reveneu is on the docket.
