Graph Words: Free Online Thesaurus Tool

Share Article

Graphwords.com website launched recently and ready to introduce visual tool for eager language learners.

Graphwords(http://graphwords.com) is a visual thesaurus that produces output which is a mindmap of associated words. Just enter a word and, a couple of seconds later, there will appear a scrollable, zoomable diagram full of words and phrases related to the original word.

For example the word “nice” is often used when there are many other more interesting and perhaps more contextually appropriate words that could be used instead. Type “nice” into this visual thesaurus and a set of alternative word choices comes up on the screen. The searching word will appear in the center of the display, and with alternative word suggestions around it. After clicking on any word in that web, it will be generated a new set of more related words.

Whether the person using this tool a writer, or simply looking for a great codename for next project, this free online thesaurus is a great productivity tool. It's free to use, and should work with most modern web browsers.

There's an option to save the generated results as a PNG image.
