Not only does DataMerger offer a visually appealing list, it eliminates errors and manual labour thus reducing staff overhead costs. Mike Leggett, Managing Director, Impress

For businesses who produce price lists or brochures, it can be a time consuming task to collate the information required when the product range covers many pages. It is equally tricky to ensure that all details are correct and the content is displayed in an appealing way to the intended target audience.
Impress have introduced 'Datamerger', a service designed to provide a straight forward, comprehensive solution to data integration for price lists and catalogues.
The process is very easy - the in house design team at Impress head office, Corby, will produce a style template for the brochure or price list which is then passed to the customer for the approval. Following this, the data will be merged from the client database directly into the designed pages which can be presented as a PDF or printed version.
To eliminate the need for the customer to spend time supplying data required for the merge, Impress can extract the required records directly from the customers' website or from an internal database. If preferred, an excel or csv file can be provided and Impress will do the rest.
In terms of the layout and design of the pages, there are no restrictions. Impress can use various styles per page if needed and create a bespoke design to customise the list specifically for a company. Furthermore, once the design has been created it can be flexible enough to enable content to be moved around as required. Providing the customer database is correct, the completed price list or brochure will be accurate.
When a customer has a price increase or adds new products to the existing range, Impress can easily achieve the desired amendments or additions with a simple data merge which will save hours of manual labour.
"Datamerger provides the perfect solution for a well presented, accurate price list or catalogue which can be turned around very quickly. Not only does it promise to produce a visually appealing list for your target audience but it will also eliminate errors and manual labour therefore reducing staff overheads," Mike Leggett, Managing Director, Impress.
