Jon Puleston, Vice President, Innovation, GMI Interactive Group, Lightspeed Research, has received the WPP Atticus Award in the Research in Practice Category for The Game Experiments, a paper he co-authored with Deborah Sleep, Director, Engage Research.
The WPP Atticus Awards honor original thinking in communications services and are open exclusively to professionals working in WPP companies. The Game Experiments, which details research by Lightspeed Research’s GMI Interactive team into how gaming techniques can be used to improve the quality of feedback from online research, also was named “Best Methodological Paper” by ESOMAR, a leading international research industry organization, in September 2011. It has been nominated for the ESOMAR Excellence Award for Best Paper 2011/2012.
