We are excited about the role we can take facilitating and managing shared service collaboration projects between public sector organizations in Ohio.

Hosted Technology Exchange, a technology cost optimization service provider, announces the re-branding of its company to Tecquiti LLC ( The name change reflects the evolving role the company has played in driving costs down and increasing efficiencies through technology solutions for Ohio’s public sector. The latest expansion includes a shared technology services offering and the introduction of a new public data benchmarking service, which will be announced in the fourth quarter.

“Our new name better positions our company to serve the public sector with an expanded service offering,” explains, Dan Quigg, chief executive officer of Tecquiti. “We are excited about the role we can take facilitating and managing shared service collaboration projects between public sector organizations in Ohio,” adds Quigg.

Shared service projects enable public organizations to work together to achieve common goals while collectively benefiting from reduced costs, increased efficiency and improved technology, equipment and service quality. For example, Tecquiti’s shared dispatch service can enable nearby municipalities to consolidate their emergency, police and fire dispatch resources, staff and equipment, which can improve the quality or increase the level of services to the public.

Tecquiti has completed 40 technology cost optimization projects for public sector organizations in Ohio including: county and municipal governments, colleges, universities, school districts and public libraries. Tecquiti customer, the City of Hudson, experienced cost savings of forty-two percent as a result of a new telecommunications system, LAN infrastructure, service contracts, fiber and WAN network solution.

The cost savings funded the new system with leftover budget for future technology investments. Read the City of Hudson case study (
