MobileApp Systems, a developer of mobile software and hardware solutions for demanding applications, is proud to announce the immediate availability of ChopperLift, a new kind of helicopter game that challenges the inner chopper hero in all of us. ChopperLift delivers hours of fun on the iPhone, iPod, and iPad.

The ozone layer no longer protects the earth from the sun's harmful rays. The mayor of Solar City already banned most gas powered vehicles. A helicopter and truck remains to carry people around and make deliveries. Who knows how long the ban will last...

Look for items and hoist them up to use, or complete the mission instructions for rewards. Remember to gas up and use the autopilot. Explore Solar City and sharpen your skills. Spend some time building a bridge or tower in the construction yard.

No one loses in ChopperLift! But having the highest score can be fun too. Landing on the Finish Tower doubles your score and ends the game. Make it back before running out of choppers and gas.

Use newly developed on-screen control knob technology to pilot your chopper through Solar City. The physics-driven controls are fluid, intuitive, and precise. Game action is controlled using knobs that are color-coordinated with objects inside the game.

Experience ChopperLift’s unique and attractive vector graphics style, highlighted in precision colors from the popular Solarized color scheme. This scientific color palette is designed with precise lightness relationships and a refined set of hues based on fixed color wheel relationships.

ChopperLift is built on the recently released Cocos2D v2.0 framework and utilizes the Box2D physics engine for super-realistic game action. This cutting-edge technology stack helps ChopperLift push the limits of Apple’s latest hardware. From retina-optimized graphics to an eclectic soundtrack, ChopperLift is truly an immersive experience.

“While we are not in the business of making games, some of the technology we use can be found in the latest time vampires!” says Tom Skwara, company president. “ChopperLift is a neat little diversion we used to test various UI, physics and framework technologies. Game technologies are complex and powerful, and as we adopt them for more professional applications, we may publish an interesting game or two along the way. Games by geeks for for geeks, I guess...”
