Los Angeles, CA (PRWEB) August 01, 2012

For the 8th consecutive year, Craig Taubman and Craig ‘N Co. will publish Jewels of Elul Vol. VIII, a collection of short inspirations for the Jewish High Holy Days. Twenty Nine individuals, one for each day of the Hebrew month of Elul, will contribute introspection on this year’s theme, The Art of Aging.

Jewels from music moguls Herb Alpert and Quincy Jones and TV legends Norman Lear and Judith Light, will be paired with insights from the founder of the Jewish Renewal movement Rabbi Zalman Schachter- Shalomi and Sara Hurwitz the first ordained orthodox woman Rabbi.

This year’s Jewels of Elul will benefit the work of Vista Del Mar, a residential drug treatment facility. "We are thrilled to share this unique publication for the High Holy Days" says Jewels creator Craig Taubman. "It is our hope to build on our reach of last year and touch hundreds of thousands of people during this sacred time of year."

This year 20,000 books are being printed and the Jewels will also be available online at http://www.jewelsofelul.com or throughout the Huffington Post and the JTA.

In its second year is the Amazon sampler CD. The release contains 18 songs for the High Holy Days from such artists as Neshama Carlebach, Craig Taubman, and The Afro-Semetic Experience. We are also excited about our partnership with Milken Archive of Jewish Music. Every week we will share music from their incredible library of classic Jewish music.
