Salesnet, a customer relationship management (CRM) software company, announces the release of the Summer 2012 Feature Pack including Record Merge and Multiple Document Upload functionality.

The new Record Merge feature is extremely powerful yet easy to use. Leveraging Salesnet's context menus, records are selected for merge and users are able to specify what is retained at the field level, even provide the ability to append information when desired. "One of the most common challenges with CRM systems is trying to keep the data clean and eliminate duplications. The New Record Merge feature provides a simple interface that enables users to easily accomplish this as they work. The response to this addition has been overwhelmingly positive." Uploading multiple documents is now available with this release including the document library and direct attachments to records. Users may upload up to 10 documents at a time with progress status shown for each file independently.

The Feature Pack also includes a new Reports Administrator role which improves a Salesnet Administrator's ability to review report configuration and use across the entire company. New fields were added to the Search views showing when a report was last run and by what users. This additional information enables Administrators to efficiently maintain organization of the Reports area for their company.

Cross-browser compatibility is an ongoing priority for Salesnet, and with this release, substantial improvements were made with respect to Apple's Safari browser. The improvements lay foundation work for the upcoming iPad compatibility release.
