ShowClix Builds Interactive Seat Map To Continue Support For Reserved Seating Venues

ShowClix gives customers more control over their ticket buying experience with the industry's easiest interactive seating chart.

This summer, full-service ticketing provider ShowClix announces its latest addition to the industry’s easiest online event ticketing. Select My Seats is an interactive seat map for reserved seating venues, designed to give customers the simplest way to choose their preferred seating arrangement.

The new interface combines a straightforward design with a thorough approach to meet the complex needs of all sorts of seated venues. Ticket buyers can add seats from multiple sections within a single transaction, and the order can be edited at any time during the checkout process.

Most importantly, all reservations are processed in real time. When a buyer clicks a seat, it stays reserved, while instantly updating the seat map to prevent any confusion for other customers.

“Events are personal experiences for people,” CEO and founder Joshua Dziabiak said, “So we built the interactive seating chart to give ticket buyers more control over their experiences.”

“While the checkout process gives customers the option to automatically reserve the closest seats, we realize that our system’s ‘best available’ seats aren’t going to be the ‘best available’ for everyone.”

Experiencing steady growth since 2007, ShowClix provides a system that makes online ticket sales easy and intuitive -- for not only event organizers, but also the people who attend those events. Customer satisfaction for both ticket buyers and sellers has always been a major focus of the company’s development.

ShowClix introduced reserved seating to offer box office managers an easier way to sell advance tickets to their venues, without the high service fees associated with other ticketing software options.
