Utilizing the LDN® Shroud is a new and simple way for growers to switch from irrigation to LEPA mode.

Senninger Irrigation, Inc., a worldwide leader in agricultural irrigation manufacturing, is pleased to announce the release of the new LDN® (Low Drift Nozzle) Shroud, the ideal low pressure and high performance accessory to the LDN® proven technology. The LDN® Shroud produces a gentle dome of water for efficient delivery directly to the soil and plants.

“The LDN® Shroud was initially created for coffee growers, but it is ideal for other crops as well,” said Pablo Herrera, Director of International Sales for Senninger. “It is so easy to switch from irrigation to LEPA (Low Energy Precision Application) mode. No tools are required.”

In LEPA mode, the water is redirected up into the LDN® Shroud and deflected down into a 36 inch diameter application, depending on the exact height from the ground. The LDN® Shroud can be used on any existing full circle LDN® UP3 applicator with The One Weight, which helps provide stability on drops in windy conditions.

There is no need to disassemble the sprinkler to access the UP3 nozzle. Conversion back to spray irrigation is done with a twist and flip of the LDN® pad. Simply twist and flip the deflector pad. Senninger’s LDN® Shroud is supported by a two-year warranty on materials, workmanship and performance.
