NJ MET Vice President Joseph Federico has announced their 12th annual sponsorship of the Jimmy Fund walkathon to benefit the Dana Farber Cancer Institute. The walk takes place on Sunday September 9, 2012.
“Since our initial walk in September, 2001, the Boston Jimmy Fund walkathon allows participants to follow the course of the 26.2 mile Boston Marathon to honor friends, family, co-workers and patients facing all forms of cancer,” said Joseph Federico from team NJ MET’s engineering headquarters, located in Clifton, NJ.
Walkers can choose from one of four route options designed for everyone from marathon enthusiasts to the youngest walker. There is also a virtual walker option for those who can’t make it to the event.
