Nashville City Club, a premier private business club in downtown Nashville, congratulates newly appointed Executive Chef, John Williams, and Sous Chef Shannon Davis. The City Club also features all new menus for lunch, dinner and brunch.
Chef Williams brings years of experience and innovative dishes to the City Club. NCC Managing Director Chris Weinberg says, "Chef John brings a wealth of experience having served as the Executive Chef at the Fairvue Country Club for several years as well as stints at the Hutton Hotel and Opryland Hotel. Chef John has a talent for energizing classic dishes in addition to creating new culinary experiences using the latest techniques. He has assembled a highly skilled team of professionals poised to enhance the high culinary standards our members and guests have grown to expect."
The new menus feature local and sustainable ingredients, such as a recent lunch selection of Arctic Char with sweet pea risotto, summer squash, and marinated local tomatoes. "My style is mostly American regional, focusing heavily on local and sustainable ingredients, I am influenced and inspired from a mix of Southern and global nuances, and modern cooking techniques. Additionally, I am always interested in recreating classics that will WOW our guests and create a memorable experience," Chef John Williams said.
Members are invited to come and try the new menus at any time. Non-members may visit the Club for brunch each week. For the first time in the Club’s 55 years history, Sunday brunch is now open to non-members.
