Denver, CO (PRWEB) August 02, 2012

When one of the primary sponsors for the AMC Cancer Fund dropped out at the last minute, they turned to GQ Barber Lounge for support. They have stepped in as the Gold Sponsor for Dinner in White, the premier fundraising event in Denver this Saturday, August 4, 2012. The event is modeled after Diner en Blanc in Paris, and now worldwide, where attendees dress all in white and create flash-mob-style picnics after a previously undisclosed location is revealed one hour prior to the event.

According to Bill Chrismer, owner of GQ Barber Lounge, about 350 of Denver's up-and-coming business professionals will participate in Dinner in White.

"We are going above and beyond because GQ Barber Lounge supports great causes like the AMC Cancer Fund," said Chrismer.

To enhance the event, GQ Barber Lounge will gift each attendee with a $50 gift card and a product card redeemable for $25 in grooming products from great brands like American Crew, MENSDEPT, Jack Black and The Art of Shaving.

In addition, they will have the official GQ Barber Lounge Maserati Pace Car at the event, courtesy of Ferrari of Denver.

"We're really excited about the GQ Barber Lounge Maserati Pace Car because it will be a focal point of the event, and the Dinner in White attendees will love it," said Brooke Cantrell, manager of strategic partnerships for the AMC Cancer Fund.

Event tickets also include cocktails, dessert and entertainment with attendees providing their own picnic dinner that can be ordered ahead of time from local French restaurant Le Central.

Dinner in White will be held from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. Tickets are $50 per person and attendees must be 21 or over.
