Introducing MarketingPilot Release 14.0 Integrated Marketing Management & Agency Management

R14.0 is a major release with more than 100 new features and functions.

MarketingPilot, the leading provider of marketing software has been positioned by Gartner, Inc. in the Visionaries quadrant of the “Magic Quadrant for MRM." R14 is a blockbuster release.

Release 14.0 is a blockbuster - it includes all the enhancements and maintenance included in Release 13.1, through 13.3 plus a whole lot more.

A Whole New Enterprise Edition
Effective with Release 14.0 the following functions have been added to the Enterprise Edition; Existing Enterprise Edition sites will receive all the functions listed above at no charge.

  • Lead Management
  • Social Media Operations

These functions have been added to the Enterprise Edition to be able to provide the tightest possible integration of all functions.

System-wide Enhancements
R14.0 includes a number of enhancements that leverage the improved performance and usability of Microsoft Silverlight technology, including support for Silverlight 5 as a trusted application. This provides support for improved usability in the Files area as well as full-screen mark up.

Performance Enhancements
R14.0 includes system-wide performance enhancements that reduce the loading time of every page in the system and resulting in significantly improved overall performance.

Social Media Operations (Phase 1)
Release 14.0 includes Phase 1 of enhancements to MarketingPilot related to Social Media Operations.

  • Social Media Outlets.
  • Integration with Twitter and Facebook.
  • A new Social Media Message dashboard that enables users to post to multiple social media sites in a single operation. The Social media dashboard provides integrated spell checking, 3rd party tracking, scheduled delivery and more.
  • Social Media integration with Programs, Campaigns, Event s and Jobs.
  • Social Media integration with Approvals and Routing – route messages for approval prior to release.

Campaign Management
R14.0 includes many enhancements to campaign management and automation:

  • Improved integration of Behavioral Tracking and Lead Management:
  • Landing Pages
  • Improved layout control and formatting with better CSS support that enables users to:
  • Pick fonts type, color and size.
  • Change column widths.
  • Change row heights.
  • Change label alignment.
  • Social Media Integration: users can now include options to enable users to specify the display of a 'Friend' button on Facebook, a 'Follow' button for Twitter, and a 'Follow' button for Linked In .
  • Single List Opt-in. Users can now specify that the landing page display all available Subscription Lists or a single one specified by the user.
  • Enhanced integration with Behavioral Tracking:
  • MarketingPilot now displays the Referring URL on Lead dashboards.
  • When the referring URL is a Search Engine, MarketingPilot now displays the keywords specified by the Lead's Contact.

Files/Digital Asset Management

  • Approval on File Expiration
  • Enhanced search using Job metadata.

R14.0 includes additional functions that enhance MarketingPilot's CRM:

  • Opportunities are now extended to CRM Contacts and Companies.
  • Editable-grid function have been added to the Opportunities dashboard.
  • Results now support CRM Contacts.
  • New Alerts are available to notify users when Notes are added to Companies.

R14.0 adds features that enhance productivity of financial users.

  • Enhancements to Bank Account and Credit Card Account dashboards.
  • Now users can edit Rep and Status for paid Credit Memo's, Refunds and Retainers.
  • Security enhancement to Retainers prevents unauthorized changes to Accounts.
  • New 'Mass' Update function added to Invoices and Media Invoices dashboards.
  • New recurring copy function added for financial transactions enables users to copy transactions multiple times a t a specified frequency in a single operation.
  • When copying transactions, users are now prompted to copy Files, too.


  • The Bank Reconciliation report has been updated to support recent enhancements to Journal Entries.
  • The Open Retainer Balance report has been added.
  • Enhancements to the Estimate Report.
  • Enhancements to the Sales Order Report.
  • Enhancements to the Client Quote.

Web Portal
R14.0 enables users to extend campaign performance visibility via MarketingPilot’s integrated web portal.

Media Buying and Planning
R14.0 includes major enhancements to Media Planning functions including:

  • Media Plan Overhaul: MarketingPilot’s media planning function has been completely rewritten to provide support for multiple media types and to provide greater performance and capabilities. The new Media Plan incorporates a dual page design to enable users to quickly edit and update plans. It also utilizes state-of-the-art JSON technology which enables blinding performance, even when plans contain more than 1,000 items.
  • New Cost Per Point rate (CPP).
  • The media traffic dashboard has been updated with a powerful new spreadsheet grid with advanced functions. (SFDC) Integration Phase 2
R14.0 includes the integration of additional MarketingPilot functions with SFDC:

  • SFDC users can now view Behavioral Tracking information for Leads, Contacts and Companies.
  • Tasks originating from MarketingPilot's Campaign Automation functions are now displayed for SFDC users as Activities.
  • Fulfillment Requests originating from MarketingPilot's Campaign Automation functions are now displayed for SFDC users as Activities.
  • Opportunities are now synchronized in SFDC and MarketingPilot.
  • SFDC Lead Status is now synchronized with MarketingPilot Leads.

Feature Retirement
Effective with the introduction of R14.0:

  • The Strata Integration Option is withdrawn.
  • The Web Registration Option is withdrawn.
  • Editing-in-place functions have been retired and are no longer available in R14.0; they have been replaced by MarketingPilot's 2nd generation, Silverlight-based, file explorer with drag-and-drop.
  • The External File Storage Option is withdrawn.

R14.0 includes cumulative maintenance since 13.0.

On-Premise Server or SaaS
As always MarketingPilot is available via the Internet or can be installed on an in-house server.
