The first ever virtual Tweetup with a Holocaust survivor of Dachau will be August 5th 2012 at noon PST. Dr. Jack Brauns will take questions via twitter hashtag #Mosaicoflife to discuss how his father bought an insurance policy for his education in 1930 and how he fought for 69 years to finally get paid. Dr. Brauns supports a US congressional bill that would force international insurance companies to pay holocaust survivors.
A virtual tweetup is an online meeting of people who use twitter to engage with a person via their tweets. This is a rare opportunity to communicate with one of the few remaining survivors of Dachau Concentration Camp. Questions asked or answers given during Dr. Brauns’ live #TheMosaicOfLife Tweetup, may be included in the upcoming feature length documentary, THE MOSAIC OF LIFE, directed by his daughter, award winning filmmaker, Alicia Brauns.
A virtual tweetup takes advantage of the twitter platform to have an extended conference with potentially thousands of people. Anyone who has a twitter account can log on to twitter and ask questions of Dr. Brauns.
