Merit’s Santa Clarita Business Unit Leader awarded the highest nationwide professional recognition for community management

Merit Property Management, a FirstService Residential Management company, announces today that Tracie Blankenship, PCAM®, CCAM®, CMCA®, AMS®, Business Unit Leader for the Santa Clarita region, earned the Community Associations Institute (CAI) Professional Community Association Manager (PCAM) designation, the pinnacle of community association management. This designation is the highest professional recognition available nationwide to managers who specialize in community management and is only awarded to qualified managers who demonstrate advanced skills and industry knowledge.

Blankenship oversees the Santa Clarita market for Merit’s current association community management clients and is responsible for coordinating and supervising new contracts, maintaining client relations and spearheading Merit’s continued growth throughout Santa Clarita’s master-planned, active adult, multi and single-family communities. She also supervises account executive staff and association onsite teams.

Blankenship also holds the professional designations of Certified Community Association Manager (CCAM®) from the California Association of Community Managers as well as the Certified Manager of Community Association (CMCA®) and the Association Management Specialist (AMS®) both from Community Associations Institute (CAI). In addition, she has served as a Board Member and Committee Member for CAI and the Building Industry Association.
