Integrative Nutrition Announces September Health Coaching Conference

Mark Bittman, John Douillard, Daniel Amen, and Founder Joshua Rosenthal to Take the Stage in New York City, September 29-30

The Institute for Integrative Nutrition (IIN), the world’s largest nutrition school, is proud to announce that it will be holding its next live conference from September 29-30, 2012, at Jazz at Lincoln Center in New York City.

The conference will feature Founder, Director, and Primary Teacher of Integrative Nutrition Joshua Rosenthal, MScEd, and the following esteemed keynote speakers:

  •     Mark Bittman: Food writer for the New York Times and best-selling author of Food Matters: A Guide to Conscious Eating and How to Cook Everything. Bittman is regularly featured on the TODAY show to discuss cooking, nutrition, and food politics.
  •     John Douillard, DC: International authority in Ayurvedic medicine, natural health, fitness, and nutrition. Douillard has been a leader in the field for over 25 years and is a member of Integrative Nutrition’s Board of Advisors.
  •     Daniel Amen, MD: Child and adult psychiatrist, self-help advisor, CEO and medial director of Amen Clinic. Amen is also the New York Times bestselling author of Magnificent Mind at Any Age and Change Your Brain, Change Your Life.

Lectures will cover cutting-edge holistic nutrition concepts, business building tips, confidence boosting exercises, and effective coaching methods to help students of the Health Coach Training Program achieve their goals and launch successful practices as Health Coaches.

The conference is open to select classes of current students for live attendance; all other Integrative Nutrition students and graduates can view the conference via Live Stream from the comfort of their own computer or mobile device.

“For the first time ever, we will create a global virtual community through Facebook and Twitter to give students the chance to comment, ask questions, and even live chat,” said Rosenthal. “Now that our community has grown to more than 25,000 members in almost 100 countries, I’m so pleased that technology makes it possible for everyone to tune in and participate.
