Dallas, Texas, August 1, 2012: The IANT (India Association of North Texas), like every year, organizes the Anand Bazaar 2012 program on the occasion of the Indian Independence Day. This year, Grand Prairie is the chosen ground that will host the 36th congregation. The program, scheduled to start on August 11th, which is four days prior to the big day, will commence at 5:30 and last till midnight. On the strike of 5:30, the Lone Star Parkway of Texas will lit up with parade shows, music orchestras and firework exhibitions, slated to start at 7:45, 8:20 and 11 PM respectively. The event, a major conglomerate for Indians based in Texas and settled worldwide, will be attended by an expected count of 15000 guests. People are invited to be present on the occasion to pay a tribute to the national freedom fighters who have martyred to attain freedom for their future generations from the colonial rule of the British.
The program will be covered by all the major media channels including Zee TV, Dallas Morning News, India Tribune, India Abroad and other local channels. Anand Bazaar is sponsored by major companies like Pepsico, United Bank, Apple Bee, At&T and Meraticket.Com. IANT secretary, honorable Mr. Jesse Khurana states that it is going to be one among the biggest events to be hosted within the limits of the United States of America. The program will serve as the promotional stage for over 190 business organizations. Food vendors from all over the nation will set up stalls in the program to serve sumptuous regional cuisines.
Among the visuals, the parade shows with both Indian and American flags will be one of the major attractions. Tricolored helium balloons will be released, and spectacular firework shows will be conducted to entice the attended guests. Cultural performances will be presented by DJs and IANT youths. Face painting and exciting games will be there to entertain the children and adults. Tickets to the event are buyable from the IANT website directly, where entry passes for both booth hirers and guests can be acquired for $500 and $8 respectively. Early birds get the best of the booth locations and a small discount. Children under the age of five are allowed to enter the event for free.
The tickets will not be shipped or dispatched to the addresses of the buyers. Visitors are requested to carry a print-out form of their soft copy or collect the passes from the program gate. Payment is accepted through credit cards, checks and PayPal.
