Processing Point, Inc., makers of the uAttend suite of employee time clocks and employee time tracking software, is once again a proud sponsor of the annual Diablo Golf Classic charity event that is scheduled for Saturday, September 8, 2012 at the Twin Oaks Golf Course in San Marcos, CA.

Now in its 5th year, the annual Diablo Golf Classic has raised nearly $10,000 for worthwhile charities. The event is set to take place on Saturday, September 8, 2012 at the Twin Oaks Golf Course in San Marcos, CA. With uniquely coined “Diablo Holes,” participants can expect a twist to their usual golf game.

“Each hole presents a challenge or modification to the normal rules of golf,” said event organizer Ryan Sebring. “Imagine Caddyshack meets Happy Gilmore meets putt-putt. It’s definitely meant to be a day of fun for everyone, and a great way to raise money for our charity.”

This year’s charity is “It’s All About the Kids,” a San Diego-based charity that distributes vital funds for area youth programs. One of the reasons Processing Point proudly supports and sponsors the Diablo Golf Classic is for the fact that it presents a fun and original way to raise funds for a good cause.

“Processing Point and uAttend are familiar sponsors when it comes to fundraising events that are committed to worthwhile causes,” said Dawn Berry, Marketing Manager. “Our philanthropic goals are to contribute in ways that we know will have a direct impact on the greater good. Sebring said organizers are currently reaching out to sponsors, volunteers and participants to help make the event the most successful one yet.

The Diablo Golf Classic is a scramble-style team event with golf, prizes, dinner and more all provided as part of the registration fee.
