Former Nextag.com Controller joins rival Become.com

Ed has a wealth of experience with online businesses in general, with extremely relevant expertise in shopping and managing global organizations.

Become Inc., one of the fastest-growing comparison shopping sites, has selected Edward Brennan as the new CFO effective on July 23, 2012. Edward is a former employee of Nextag Inc. where he held the position of Corporate Controller for multiple years.

“I look forward to working with the leadership team at Become to continue growing the business and achieving sustained financial growth,” said CFO Edward Brennan. “I plan to leverage my experience in finance and leadership roles to increase profitability for the company and to continue expanding the company globally.”

Edward held other leadership positions such as Vice President of Finance and Administration at Adchemy Inc., Worldwide Operations Controller at Adobe Systems Inc., Senior Director of Finance at PlaceWare Inc. and Finance Manager at EFI. Brennan is also a successful entrepreneur having founded and grown his own music startup, SonicJam Inc.

Edward earned his undergraduate degree in Political Science and earned his MBA in Finance from Santa Clara University.
