Written, produced and performed by Serani, the single was done as the official Top Runna game theme song on PlayJamaica.com. However, as the lyrics progressed, Serani realised the full potential of the song.“After the recording was complete and ready for mixing I recognized the potential of the record and saw it best for Blackout to take on the task of giving the track an international mix,” Serani said.
The track was mixed by Winston "Blackout" Thomas out of Miami, Florida, popularly known for his work with Nicki Minaj, MIMS, and Fabolous, and with his international edge, the track has taken on a life of its own.
Chris Lawe, Senior Consultant and director at PlayJamaica.com, was the creative mind behind the concept of tying the game and a song together and was instrumental in actually getting it done.
