"The Travis Manion Foundation is very excited to partner with Team Red, White & Blue to help veterans, families of the fallen, and local communities through the upcoming 9/11 Heroes Run," James Brobyn, Executive Director of TMF.

Team Red, White and Blue (RWB) announce the formation of a strategic partnership with the Travis Manion Foundation (TMF), an organization that assists United States military veterans and the families of Fallen Heroes.

"The Travis Manion Foundation is very excited to partner with Team Red, White & Blue to help veterans, families of the fallen, and local communities through the upcoming 9/11 Heroes Run," James Brobyn, Executive Director of the Travis Manion Foundation, said. "Team RWB's efforts to increase registration for the Travis Manion Foundation's global 5k runs will empower more veterans, and thus ensure that the 9/11 Heroes Run benefits more members of the military community and local charities."

The Travis Manion Foundation will host the 9/11 Heroes Run in more than 40 cities and towns across the world on Saturday, September 8 and Sunday, September 9, 2012. For locations and registration information to participate in a race in your area, please visit http://www.911heroesrun.com.

The increased number of participants will enable the Travis Manion Foundation, which receives 50 percent of the 9/11 Heroes Run proceeds, to help more families of the fallen and veterans. Local community charities in each race location will receive the remaining 50 percent.

“Last year, hundreds of Team RWB members paid tribute to those killed on Sept 11, 2001, by running in various locations all over the country,” says Mike Erwin, Team RWB Founder and Executive Director. “Partnering with the TMF 9/11 Heroes Run allows our community to honor these men, women and their families through action---this year and for decades to come.”

Erwin adds, “Team RWB admires the Travis Manion Foundation's focus on the community level---that is where the rubber meets the road. Our organizations share a lot of core values and we're fired up to be affiliated with them.”
