Deltak, a leading online higher education services provider, was named one of the family-friendliest companies in Central Florida and ranked #30 in Orlando Sentinel’s 2012 Top 100 Companies for Working Families. The 19th annual contest recognizes Central Florida employers striving to reach the ideal work-life balance for their employees.
Deltak, which has offices in Orlando, Chicago and Denver, earned recognition for the variety of benefits and opportunities it offers to foster a unique, accommodating workplace. Participation in charity/volunteer work is highly valued, as well as providing employees with the option to seek further education. Deltak’s benefit package includes the opportunity for employees to earn a master’s degree at a substantial savings through Deltak’s network of partner schools and programs, and they can also update their skills with courses at no charge. Other employee benefits include health and dental insurance, vision insurance, life insurance, paid vacation/holidays, and 401K with employer contribution.
The Orlando Sentinel, a Tribune Company publication, compiles and prints the annual list based on annual rankings in a number of areas, including total benefit packages, organizational culture, work environment, training, and work-life balance offerings.
Companies apply online and the winners are chosen from two categories: companies with less than 250 employees and those with 250 employees or more. The Top 100 are chosen by a panel of judges comprised of experts in the human resources and employee benefits arena, as well as employees of the Orlando Sentinel.
“At Deltak, we believe that our employees make the difference in the quality of the services we provide to our partners. We believe that a healthy work-life culture promotes happiness amongst our employees, which is a huge priority for us,” Chief Operating Officer and SVP Greg Finkelstein said.
Deltak was recognized and awarded at the Top 100 Luncheon on August 3, 2012 in Orlando, Florida.
