Tom Kozlowicz, Olympic Torch Bearer for London’s 2012 Games and Cancer Survivor Brings the Torch to the Relay For Life Event

Tom Kozlowicz of Yorkville, cancer survivor, Torch Bearer for the 2012 London Olympic Games and long-time Member of DuPage Credit Union, will participate with his Olympic Torch held high in the 2012 Relay for Life on August 10th at the Central DuPage Hospital Cancer Center in Warrenville.

Tom Kozlowicz, 2012 London Olympic Games Torch Bearer and cancer survivor, will be bringing his Olympic Torch to the Relay for Life Event in Warrenville, IL.

Tom Kozlowicz, of Yorkville, a 2012 Olympic Torch Bearer, cancer survivor and long-time Member of DuPage Credit Union will participate in the Relay for Life Event sponsored by the American Cancer Society.

The cancer survivor will bring the same torch that he carried during his July 1st leg of the 2012 London Olympics Torch Relay at Chipping Campden, England as part of the Survivor’s Lap. He was one of only 18 Americans selected to carry the torch during this Olympic year.

The 2012 Relay for Life event will be held on August 10th at the Central DuPage Cancer Center in Warrenville.

“It is an honor and privilege to share the Olympic Torch to further such a worthwhile cause; it truly exemplifies what the Olympics are all about," says Kozlowicz.

Kozlowicz will participate with over 20 DuPage Credit Union Team Members and their families in a Credit Union effort to raise funds for the American Cancer Society. DuPage Credit Union invites the community to the event to meet Tom and see the Olympic Torch, whose flame still burns in London until Sunday, August 12th. To date, DuPage Credit Union Team Members have raised nearly $2,000 to benefit the American Cancer Society.
