“Bringing Raj onboard is an extremely helpful addition to the Insightpool team. His combination of skills and ability to roll up his sleeves are rare traits and very cool to have,” adds Devon Wijesinghe, Chairman of Insightpool.

Big data analytics company Insightpool has recently been on an incredible growth rate. Last month, they announced funding with Devon Wijesinghe, and have instantly been off to the races.
Since then, the company has been very aggressive in sponsoring community events in the Atlanta area. They recently partnered with Social Fortress to host the afterparty of the Atlanta TechCrunch meetup and soon thereafter, they sponsored The Art of the Launch, an upcoming marketing conference. The event will be focused on bringing together marketers and designers to develop product launch plans over a weekend, and is the world’s first marketing hackathon-style event. “Anything we can do to expand our relationships and support the community is huge for us,” says Matt Smith, Chief Architect of Insightpool.
The company has also made recent investments in hiring a big data scientist, Raj Gulati. Raj has been a previous CTO for a technology startup and received his degree in mathematics and computer science. His skillsets include statistical analysis, data aggregation and segmentation, as well as the highly complementary quality of Ruby on Rails development. “Bringing Raj onboard is an extremely helpful addition to the Insightpool team. His combination of skills and ability to roll up his sleeves are rare traits and very cool to have,” adds Devon Wijesinghe, Chairman of Insightpool.
Insightpool will be continuing to ramp up as several big-brand customers have started adopting the platform. The growth in the industry is white-hot with some of the larger players in the space recently being acquired for large valuations, including Vitrue, Buddy Media, and recently Wildfire. Insightpool is in an ever-expanding field and will take advantage of this trend.
