London 2012 isn’t just about sporting excellence – it’s also about celebrating the UK and everything it has to offer. Which is why a unique music programme called ‘Rock the Games’ has been created especially for the Olympics, featuring live performances by various artists inside London 2012 venues, and exclusive new tracks recorded for the Games.

There will also be live streaming of selected artists on the official London 2012 YouTube channel, as part of the programme. This will give the YouTube community in the UK and US the chance to ask questions and watch some of the artists perform a song

There will also be live streaming of selected artists on the official London 2012 YouTube channel, as part of the programme. This will give the YouTube community in the UK and US the chance to ask questions and watch some of the artists perform a song or two. Hosted by Gemma Cairney, there will be performances by:

Rizzle Kicks on Tuesday 7 August at 3.30pm #askrizzlekicks
Lawson on Tuesday 7 August at 7pm #asklawson
Mika on Wednesday 8 August at 3pm #askmika
Pixie Lott on Friday 10 August at 11.30am #askpixie
