"[The Barefoot Princess] is really the perfect Long Island summer experience!"

Patchogue, NY (PRWEB) August 04, 2012

After a brief absence, The Barefoot Princess is home to stay in the Patchogue River at the Harbor Crab Co. This elegant riverboat is a real local favorite, and it is now beckoning residents and visitors alike on board with a “Welcome to Patchogue” inscription that can be seen all the way from the train station!

The beautiful vessel can bring up to 117 people aboard and offers two levels of food, drinks and entertainment. Guests can enjoy a la carte lunch or dinner on the top deck, where the full Harbor Crab menu is available. The lower level of the boat has been transformed into a lounge, with comfortable seating, yacht club inspired style, music and a full bar. Plus, the boat can be rented for private parties, so between dining at the dock and catering at sea, The Barefoot Princess offers something for everyone.

“It’s really the perfect Long Island summer experience,” says frequent visitor and Babylon resident Melissa Wiscerth, “I always recommend it to my friends, and out-of-town guests get a kick out of it!”

The Crew at the Harbor Crab, with new Barefoot Princess Captain Bryan Waag at the helm, is excited for The Barefoot Princess to become a permanent fixture in the Village of Patchogue and the Long Island community. After all, what warmer symbol of Americana exists than a classic white riverboat? Where the East End has the Duck, the South Shore now has The Barefoot Princess.

Reservations will be available beginning August 4, 2012.
