Jaffrey's Atlas PyroVision Productions Awarded Gold for Their International Display in Montreal Canada

On Friday evening, Atlas PyroVision Productions was announced the winner of the L'International Des Feux Loto-Quebec. In its 28th year, the MontrealFireworks competition is the most prestigeous fireworks competition in the World.

Atlas PyroVision Productions has received the Gold Jupiter award for their winning display in Montreal, Quebec. The award was presented to the Atlas team during the awards ceremony at Six Flags - LaRonde in Montreal. The Atlas display was the top winner with Grupo Luso of Portugal receiving the Silver Jupiter and Vaccalluzzo S.R.L of Italy receiving the Bronze.

Atlas' CEO and Artistic Director Stephen Pelkey co-produced the 32 minute "PyroMusical" along with VP and Technical Director, Matthew Shea. The show, "PyroFantasia" featured a modern take on the original Disney Classic, with a pyrotechnic twist. This display was also the largest fireworks program in the 28 year history of the competition and featured nearly 7,400 computer commands and over 9,000 devices. "The virtually flawless execution of such a complex program combined with beautiful pyrotechnic symmetry, certainly helped in the judges decision" quote Matthew Shea.

Other members of the winning team include: Chris Bergeron, Mike Achenbach, Shawn Allison, Patricia Harren, Gary Brazil and Kayla Clark.

Atlas PyroVision Productions produces nearly 800 shows annually, throughout New England including shows in Boston MA, Portland ME, Falmouth MA, Worcester MA, Hartford CT, Burlington VT, Manchester NH and Jaffrey NH.

Atlas PyroVision Productions continuous with their 2012 schedule including the annual Jaffrey Festival of Fireworks, held on August 18th.
