“My poetry is like a window to my soul. You will be able to feel the experiences and the emotions and be enlightened with my words and shall certainly be touched with my own spirit. My poetry shall enrich you with passion

Ralph Waldo Emerson once said that “life consists in what a man is thinking of all day.” Putting pen to paper, poet Jane Tremain shares her outlook on life through prose in her new book of poetry, “The Purple Lotus Diary” (published by Trafford Publishing).

Tremain hopes readers will enjoy her personal journey, “from the core of my heart and to help them to illuminate their visions on how to form their influence on any relationships and any personal experiences.” It is her firm belief that “The Purple Lotus Diary” will lift their spirits.

“‘The Purple Lotus Diary’ has a special meaning and it will inspire others,” Tremain explains. “Their spirits will touch with mine with universal experiences.”

An excerpt from the poem entitled, “Waterfalls”:

waterfalls are so beautiful
you can hear the sounds of the water swooshing as it is falling
seeing a twig floating by
. . . as misty sprinkles from the falls land on my face
which empowers me
the sounds of water running everywhere glistens the silence
watching the rainbow which has risen above the valley
holding the beautiful treasure of nature
arching in and out of the heavenly sky

“My poetry is like a window to my soul. You will be able to feel the experiences and the emotions and be enlightened with my words and shall certainly be touched with my own spirit. My poetry shall enrich you with passion and inspiration.”
