Credit card expert website CreditLand.com has picked out the top credit cards for saving money on back-to-school shopping. After studying hundreds of offers and looking in-depth at the terms and conditions offered by different banks and retailers, they have identified three bank-issued credit cards and three store cards that they say offer customers the biggest savings during this back-to-school season.

When consumers go shopping for school supplies and other back-to-school season essentials, they may not think about the fact that they can get additional savings just for pulling out the right credit card at the cash register,” says Roman Shteyn

As families get ready to send their children back to school, studies estimate that they will spend over $600 on each child, buying things like school supplies, new clothes, backpacks, and other necessities. Families who are working with a tight budget will be happy to hear that the finance website CreditLand.com has identified the very best credit cards consumers should use when paying for back-to-school shopping.

“When people go shopping for school supplies and other back-to-school season essentials, they may not think about the fact that they can get additional savings just for pulling out the right credit card at the cash register,” says Roman Shteyn, CEO and co-founder of CreditLand.com.

“These credit cards all offer great savings for families who want to get the most from their back-to-school spending. If consumers use them along with other promotions like back-to-school sales and coupons, they can increase their savings up to five percent more, on top of the savings offered in-store or with coupons.” Shteyn says his research team searched hundreds of credit card offers and picked the top three bank cards along with the top three store credit cards. “That way,” says Shteyn, “shoppers can get great savings no matter where they shop.”
