“What I witnessed throughout my entire life is what others can only perceive as being paranormal,” author CJ Candel writes in her newly published book through Xlibris, LAST STAND of the WOLVES. In this book, she tells a story of spirits and mediums that subtly reveal her insights and beliefs about the paranormal.

“I believe that everything happens for a reason. I had to find out what those reasons were by piecing it all together that took years to confirm its significance and reasoning. I waited for the right time to expose the contents of this book; that time is now,” Candel shares.

Based on a true story, LAST STAND of the WOLVES follows a young girl who was chosen by 31 spirits of wolves as a medium to save their species from extinction. The wolves were killed in the early 1900s by the girl’s sheepherder uncle and have come back to assure their survival and their rights to live. They make themselves visible to her which totally consumes her everyday life. She seeks the guidance of a tribal medicine man to send the wolves back to where they came. What follows is a web of events that reveal how the problem is put to an end – if it ever ends.

LAST STAND of the WOLVES, appealing to believers and non-believers alike, captivates audiences with its abundance of human emotion and supernatural activity that sets off any imagination with the possibility of its true existence in today’s world.

Candel’s message is a warning to mankind: “Our last chance to unite as one, working together to protect all wild creatures of the earth and the correlation between preserving their existence and saving our own planet from permanent destruction - the end is near.”
