So much to do, so little time!
Music is in the air in Westchester this summer. In downtowns, at shopping malls, concert venues and parks, enjoy jazz, gospel, soul, blues, rock, funk, hip hop and more – there’s something happening almost every night! Spend Thursdays in August enjoying Sunset Jazz at Lyndhurst featuring performances by Jazz Forum Arts. Friday nights in downtown Yonkers feature Jazz, Blues & More, with acclaimed acts such as Lao Tizer and Joe Abba and the Identity Crisis. You can also swing dance in the streets of White Plains, catch an outdoor movie, or soak up some culture by attending one of the incredible ethnic festivals across the county like the Festa Italiana Peekskill August 10-12. Take the family for a walk among live butterflies at the Greenburgh Nature Center in Scarsdale. Golf, fish, relax on the beach or kayak the mighty Hudson. The possibilities are endless!

A Destination for Dining
As the first stop in the Hudson Valley, Westchester is home to nearly 900 restaurants serving every type of cuisine for every budget. From fine dining on sweeping verandas to riverside restaurants to food trucks, there is something for every palate in Westchester. Dine overlooking the Hudson River at Half Moon in Dobbs Ferry, Red Hat on the River in Irvington and Haymount House & Hudson Restaurant in Briarcliff Manor. For great people watching in downtowns, head to Serafina in White Plains, Chat in Scarsdale and the Terrazzo at Tarry Lodge in Port Chester. Or enjoy dinner at Emma’s Ale House in White Plains, a Certified Green Restaurant. There’s even oceanfront dining at Seaside Johnny’s in Rye.
