Dan O'Toole and Daniel Krason Join Forbes Consulting Group

New Directors of Business Development will Lead Consumer Packaged Goods and Strategic Direction of New Products and Expand the Company’s Financial Services Group

Forbes Consulting Group, the leading market research company that leverages applied neuroscience to gain insights directly from consumers’ emotional brains, today announced the additions of Dan O’Toole and Daniel Krason as Directors of Business Development. As part of the account management team, O’Toole will be responsible for leading the Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) vertical within Forbes, as well as working on the strategic direction of Forbes’ new products, including MindSight. Krason will be responsible for continuing to grow the company’s clients in the financial services industry.

O’Toole joins Forbes Consulting from Nielsen where he most recently served as Vice President of Custom Research. In this role, he managed the custom analytics for one of Nielsen’s largest online clients, Google, and was responsible for leading all custom engagements, including designing and executing the custom research across Google’s many entertainment, video, and social assets.
Prior to this role, O’Toole served in a multitude of roles within Nielsen across their sports, consumer, and retail businesses. In these roles, he led research for clients such as Gillette, Bausch & Lomb, Pepsico, Nascar, and the NFL. His work also stretched across numerous divisions, including eight years in the modeling and analytics group of ACNielsen as well as five years in product development.

O’Toole has an MBA from Bentley College and an undergraduate Mathematics degree from Boston University, both with honors.

Krason joins Forbes Consulting from Forrester Research, where he served as Director of Market Insights and Data Services. In this role, he helped clients leverage the data-driven insights generated by Consumer Technographcs – a syndicated program that examines the impact of technology on consumer behaviors and attitudes across the globe.
Prior to joining Forrester, Krason was the Vice President of Business Development for the technology & telecommunications research practice at TNS North America. His background also includes assignments at the web analytics firm Compete, as well as Harris Interactive and GE.
Krason graduated cum laude from the University of Vermont with a degree in Economics.
