GeoPot, a Bay Area hydroponic supplies company located in Santa Rosa newest product, the “Hanging Garden,” is now available. The vertical "Hanging Garden" continues the hydroponic supplies company’s tradition of air root pruning and aeration in a two-pocket or four-pocket hanging planter. One of the biggest benefits of the "Hanging Garden" is how it manages water. It was designed to utilize a drip watering system that allows water to drip from the bottom of the top pocket to the successive pockets below. This results in almost all of the water being used up by the plants, with very little waste. Another benefit of having plants suspended off of the ground is a decrease in the chance that the plant will develop a pest problem or disease.
GeoPot invites the community to join the new revolution of vertical planting. The GeoPot "Hanging Garden" helps maximize limited space by growing plants in a vertical direction. For urban gardeners, this is a popular way to bring greens, fruits and veggies right into the city.
The ‘Hanging Garden’ increases space and adds to harvests by providing a place to grow herbs, ornamentals, strawberries, lettuces, grape tomatoes and peppers. It is a unique way to enhance the ambience of the kitchen, backyard or garden. Used side by side, they can create a lush "living" wall.
The Hanging Garden is manufactured from the same material as GeoPot's original, porous fabric that allows air to enter the root zone from all surfaces of the container, which also provides great drainage and a healthier environment for the plant's roots. The combination of air root pruning and the aeration of the root zone allows plants to reach their full potential.
The four-pocket "Hanging Garden" measures 72 inches in length and each pocket is 12 inches in length and 12 inches wide. The two-pocket "Hanging Garden" measures 42 inches in length.

Dennis Hunter and his family and friends are avid gardeners. With twenty years of hands-in-the-soil gardening experiences, Hunter developed the self-supporting GeoPot and PVC-framed GeoPlanter to make gardening easier and more fulfilling. Both the self-supporting GeoPot and the PVC-framed GeoPlanter, a planter box, allow for the optimization of root zone dynamics and versatility. They can even be machine-washed and reused.
