Poptropicagames.org, the leading independent tips, news and updates website for the popular kids online game Poptropica, has just announced the release of the three new level guides to help players get past Steamworks Island, the 14th and newest letter on the game.
Steamworks Island became accessible for the first time in the middle of last month. Currently, the level is only available for paid players, and will be made available to the rest of the community in the middle of September.
Even so, Poptropicagames.org has revealed that although only a small section of the Poptropica community can currently access the level, many of these gamers (also happened to be some of the most experienced) are struggling to conquer the level.
Poptropicagames.org said that the reason gamers are finding the level so difficult is because there is a lack of citizens on the island – something that is unique for the Poptropica game.
Due to the huge demand for assistance on various online Poptropica communities, Poptropicagames.org has responded by publishing no less than three new guides to the Steamworks Island level on its main website.
Guides, which were published just last month, detail step-by-step how gamers can get past three of the biggest challenges on the level; The Hub, Sully’s Shop and Gear Alley.
The guides, which are available for free on Poptropicagames.org, has been written in a brief, easy to follow step-by-step fashion so that even the youngest readers can effectively follow them and get past the biggest challenges on Steamworks Island.
Dan Lim, editor of Poptropicagames.org, said that they wanted to help younger gamers as much as they could:
“Older players probably won't have too much trouble with the new level, but for younger gamers. We believe that Steamworks Island presents quite a tough challenge – quite unlike anything else we have seen in the game so far. As a result, we were fairly concerned that it might put younger gamers off, which is why we have gone ahead and published a series of new guides on our website.”
Dan announced that the game guides are completely free and can be read on the official Poptropicagames.org website now.
