Kaleidoscope Adventures Awards Nine Students With Stellar Student Scholarship

Established in 2008, the scholarship awards funds to deserving students who, for various reasons, are unable to afford the entire cost of their school group trip.

Kaleidoscope Adventures, Inc. is proud to announce during this past spring season, nine students were awarded the company’s annual Stellar Student Scholarship. Established in 2008, the scholarship awards funds to deserving students who, for various reasons, are unable to afford the entire cost of their school group trip. Based on the belief that travel is essential to a complete education, it is the goal of Kaleidoscope Adventures to make a positive difference, educating students through travel.

According to Robin Parker, President/CEO of Kaleidoscope Adventures, “By providing financial support to these students through the scholarship fund, the team at Kaleidoscope Adventures hopes to encourage students who would otherwise be unable to travel, to participate in their school trip.” The scholarship is awarded to students based on financial need, academic eligibility and dedication to their school. Recipients of this year’s award include:

• Mason Washer of Monadnock Regional High School in New Hampshire: awarded a trip to Orlando
• Larry Love of Creekside Middle School in Indiana: awarded a trip to Chicago
• Tre Roland of Cypress Creek High School in Florida: awarded a trip to New York City
• CJ Henderson of CM Eppes Middle School in North Carolina: awarded a trip to New York City
• Marissa Phillips of Woodside High School in Virginia: awarded a trip to Orlando
• Ryan Treadwell of Belle Vernon Area High School in Pennsylvania: awarded a trip to Nashville/Pigeon Forge
• Katie Mignone of Belle Vernon Area High School in Pennsylvania: awarded a trip to Nashville/Pigeon Forge
• Quinn Robert Kender of Central Bucks High School West in Pennsylvania: awarded a trip to Boston
• Jessica Loman of Girl Choir of South Florida in Florida: awarded a trip to San Francisco

Since the program began in 2008, Kaleidoscope Adventures has awarded over $80,000+ in scholarships to students throughout the United States. Any school group that contracts their trip with Kaleidoscope Adventures is eligible to nominate students for the Stellar Student Scholarship program.

For many students, travel outside of the classroom makes a positive impact upon their lives. Oftentimes, organized student group travel is the only way that he or she will experience the world.
