Dr. Curtis Bannister Attains over 2000 Flight Hours in his Private Plane to Attend National Chiropractic Seminars

Dr. Curtis Bannister takes his passion for flying planes to new heights and uses it as a positive tool for his chiropractic practice. Attaining over 2,000 flight hours, Bannister has participated in educational seminars across the nation including Philadelphia, New York City and Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

“It is my goal to have as much education as possible in order to provide the best care for my patients. The practice of chiropractic has come a long way in the past 20 years. By attending these seminars, I am able to learn a variety of new techniques, which is important because each chiropractic manipulation technique has different, positive effects,” stated Dr. Bannister.

Bannister, a Certified Chiropractic Rehabilitation Doctor, and his wife, Dr. Stephanie Coursen, who also is a chiropractor, practice at The Neck and Back Center of Erie. Bannister opened the Neck and Back Center in March of 1981. Bannister and Coursen have over 45 years of combined chiropractic experience.

In addition to piloting his planes to attend chiropractic seminars across the nation, Bannister and Coursen have travelled to Cat Island, a small island in the Bahamas, on chiropractic service trips. On their latest mission trip, Bannister and Coursen treated children who suffer from physical and mental disabilities at the Old Bight Mission Home on Cat Island.

Bannister shares that “I do not intend to slow down anytime soon, I am so fortunate to have the opportunities to utilize the things I love in order to help people.” Through the combination of his passions for planes, work, and education, Bannister has been able to enrich not only his life, but the lives of his patients.
