I have an amazing ability to hang banners straight and fold t-shirts better than people who work at the GAP. I look forward to AMP promotions reaching an all new level.

Advanced Media Partners announces the promotion of Stacey Kaye to Promotion Director of its four radio stations in the Peoria market. Additionally, Aaron Tyler has been named Director of Creative Services and Music Director for 98.5 KISS FM, and Julie Jacobs joins the AMP team as its new Traffic Director. Nick Siefken continues in his role as Program Director for 96.5 ESPN Radio and adds duties as assistant to the Operations Manager, Scott Hecathorn.

Stacey joined Advanced Media Partners in April 2012, having worked in the business for 11 years, most recently at WXSS and WMYX Milwaukee. Stacey also has significant experience as a promotion director having served in that capacity for the 5 station Citadel cluster in Tuscaloosa, Alabama and the 4 Midwest Communications stations in Terre Haute, Indiana.

“I have an amazing ability to hang banners straight and fold t-shirts better than people who work at the GAP. I look forward to AMP promotions reaching an all new level,” said Kaye of her new position.

Aaron Tyler, a Central Illinois native, is a 12 year veteran of the radio business with stops in St. Louis, Pittsburgh and Dothan, Alabama on his way back home.

“Getting the chance to download music legally, play it for other people and get paid for it is a dream come true,” said Tyler of his promotion. “Think about how much more Rihanna my iPod will have now!”

Julie Jacobs has been part of the radio industry for ten years, most recently as a morning show host in Dothan, Alabama.

“When I was offered the job I thought I’d have to tell people about how many cars are backed up on War Memorial every morning. This is a much better job,” said Jacobs of the new opportunity.

According to Hecathorn these moves put AMP in an even better position for success. “We already had an extremely talented group of people working for Advance Media Partners. This strategic reorganization of duties allows everyone to better utilize their individual talents for the collective good. Go team go!”
