PourHouse, a Denton-based sports bar and restaurant, this year celebrated the 5 year anniversary of moving into its current location on Unicorn Lake, all thanks to using prefabricated building materials from local company Rhino Steel Buildings.

PourHouse co-owner Rick Moore had a very specific idea of what he wanted when starting out. He saw a clearspan building with one wall made of glass that would allow an unobstructed view of the lake from anywhere inside, giving his customers a beautiful scene to enjoy as they ate and drank.

Being a builder himself, Moore knew the advantages of metal buildings and knew one would be capable of supporting the design he envisioned. He went to Rhino with his idea and their team of experts quickly directed him to their 100' by 110' metal building package, which was just what he was looking for.

"Rhino's customer service is just extraordinary," said Moore. "I am very happy with the whole building experience and with the building's performance."

Finished with brick, Moore has been pleasantly surprised with the energy efficiency of the building, thanks in large part to the heavy-duty insulation used on the roof panels. Despite the triple-digit heat that Texas is known for, PourHouse's electric bills have remained a relative bargain.

As PourHouse's business continues to grow – it currently seats just over 200 and boats a business meeting facility and theater-style media room – they plan to stick with Rhino for any long-term expansion needs. "I absolutely will buy Rhino Steel Buildings for any other commercial projects in the future," Moore said.
